Acquisition of general drainage planning (GEP) measures in GEONIS Sewer System

23.10.2019

With the release of GEONIS 2017 Service Pack 2, it will be possible to create, manage and visualize various GEP measures in the GEONIS Sewer System solution.

Water is the basis of all life. An effective protection is a prerequisite for its sustainable use. Urban drainage ensures the discharge of all types of waste water and avoids impairments to water, soil, plants and animals. The necessary renewals as well as the optimal operation of the facilities are defined in the general drainage plan (GEP). The need for action is reflected in the definition of measures.

GEP measures in GEONIS Sewer System

Based on the VSA standard, the model was extended by an object catalog of the "Measure" class for the action plan. With GEONIS Sewer System 2017 Service Pack 2, it will be possible to create, manage and visualize various measures. A direct export to Excel enables the most important information about the measures taken to be passed on to the responsible office without having to make any manual adjustments. The measures can be automatically linked with the objects to be rehabilitated. The spatial extent for the measures can be created automatically or manually.

The extension of the model by the class "Measure" enables the user to submit all measures as part of the GEP approval. No further systems (e.g. CAD) have to be used for data acquisition, administration and visualization. For further information on the measures taken, you can download the linked Webinar (Attention: The prototype was presented during the webinar). > Language: German
