Dynamic Feeder Map

21.09.2016

The Dynamic Feeder Map simplifies and bundles the most important information about electricity supply into compact reports, concentrating on what’s most critical. For this it is especially valued by network managers.

With the Dynamic Feeder Map the low-voltage and public lighting circuits associated with each Substation, Transformer or Distribution Cabinet are depicted.

Tables as well as maps can be fit on an A3 or A2 sheet. The dynamic supply network or fire-fighting plan, as it is also called, is available as a prototype, already successfully integrated and in use at one of our customers. The supply network plan, fixed directly on the station installation, offers many services. Network managers rely on it and can no longer imagine working without it.

From a technical perspective all that is required is a slight database modification, media configuration, some python scripts and additional reporting templates. Prerequisite is a correct electrical network as well as the availability of Station Diagrams for the low-voltage network and public lighting network (if required).

Python scripts can help optimize the addresses of service connections or street lights, and these optimized addresses are written into the database into additional fields.

A Feeder Map is created simply by selecting the appropriate legend, then selecting the desired substation or transformer. A comprehensive report can then be generated directly from GEONIS.

Because the Feeder Map information is managed in the database, the detail diagrams will be automatically labelled and connected with any reports.

Further reports and tables for all circuits can be just as efficiently created for any station.

A complete list of service connections, according to address, transformer and terminal information is now available for the entire service area.

Summary:

The Dynamic Feeder Map simplifies and bundles the most important information about electricity supply in compact reports, concentrating on what’s most critical.

Dynamic Feeder Map is planned for the next release of GEONIS Electro, enabling all of our customers to benefit from it.
